hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone had information about these summer programs? I did a search and realized that most of the threads were almost 2 years old, so any updated info would be great! I'm looking for info on the BADA Midsummer in Oxford, RADA Summer Shakespeare, LAMDA Shakespeare Short Course, and the Guildhall Acting course. If you went to any of these, please share your experiences, loved or hated, either way it helps a great deal.
Thanks so much!

From things I’ve seen on CC, the biggest raves seem to go to BADA. I hope some knowledgeable people chime in!

You might be applying for this summer, monologue? London is probably going to be a mess in summer 2012 because of the Olympics.

Yeah, the original plan was to go summer 2012, the summer between my junior and senior year, but my parents and I decided it’d be better to go this summer instead.

Also, if anyone auditioned for BADA by using a DVD, if you could talk about that too, it’d be great, because it looks like I’m going to have to do that.
thanks again

My daughter was thinking about auditioning for BADA-- we don’t know much about it, however. We thought that the live audition at Juilliard in March might be a good experience to help her prepare for college auditions.

I did the one month shakespeare program at RADA and it was really an amazing experience. You get to work with RADA faculty and take classes with people from all different age groups from all over the world. I would highly recommend it.
