I'm doing the Midsummer in Oxford college program at BADA (the British American Drama Academy) this summer. Anyone know of anyone else who's going?

My child attended BADA last summer. It was a wonderful, intense life-changing experience which definitely shaped the college application process this year. In fact, the students remained in close touch and supported each other during college auditions this year. The BADA program is intense and involves a lot of work, but you will make life-long friends and learn SO much about yourself as an artist and as a person. The instructors were AMAZING. Every student had a spacious single room with private bath at Balliol College, and by all reports, the students all loved studying in Oxford. Enjoy every minute of your BADA experience and congrats on being accepted!

I did BADA last summer and loved it! All the teachers are great and will really push you. You’ll be in class most of the time, but when you’re not, Oxford is a great place to explore and learn in. I heard this year it will be more of an emphasis on classical acting. Last year we had Shakespeare and modern, but I’m not sure. In any case, you’ll love it. And like the person said above, you have your own room and bathroom!

I am also going to BADA Midsummer Conservatory this coming summer! Can’t wait to meet you!

Hi, I am thinking about applying for this program next summer. What are the audition procedures? thank you

I just found out today I was accepted! I haven’t made up my mind yet, I’m still waiting to here from the pre-college programs at Carnegie and NYU, but I’m leaning towards BADA.

My D will be attending the College program at BADA this summer. The college students study Shakespeare for a month. She was just accepted and is very excited.
So, if you don’t go during high school, you can go during college.
