Baits II: Freshmen?

My son got a single in Baits II (Ziwet House). Does anyone know the layout of that hall and if it will be predominantly freshmen? He is fine with North campus as he is a Music major, but doesn't want to be with all upperclassmen, esp in a single as it could be isolating. (the cumulative effect of North, Baits, Ziwek, and a single)

It's North Campus, there will be NO upperclassman at all. If upperclassmen wish to live in the dorms, it'll probably be on central campus. So it should be mostly freshman.

Yeah, if upperclassman (engineering, music students) stay on north campus, they would be in Bursley.

To clarify, do you define upperclassmen as everyone except freshmen? i.e., Baits has all freshmen? Thanks.

im in baits II. I have realllly mixed feelings about it. Its on north campus which is kind of a drag, makes going to parties or hookah bar or hanging out with the majority of people a drag knowing we have to travel by bus back and forth instead of just being able tow alk back. At the same time BAITS II is known for having big rooms, own kitchen, and ur own personal little lobby area so im looking forward to bringing down my xbox. I dunno personally i want to meet alot of people, BAITS II seems to be the smallest/isolated so we'll see

Baits housing isn't as much of a dorm as it is a collection of apartment-like buildings. I can't find anything to verify this, but I'm pretty sure it used to be graduate housing, and only fairly recently started to be used for undergraduates. I only know specifics for one of the houses in Baits I, but I'm assuming they're all pretty much the same. Each end of a hallway has about 4-5 rooms that share a bathroom, which the residents are in charge of keeping clean. I don't think they have the building-block furniture yet, but hopefully with a single you'll have enough space so that you won't need a loft. Each house should have it's own community kitchen with fridge, oven, stove, pots/pans, etc. It's definitely a much smaller community, but it works out very well if you get along with the people you live by. If that doesn't work out, Bursley isn't that far away, and it has 1200+ people. I'd say it's predominantly freshmen, but there are some older people there (mainly ones doing art/music).
