Baker Lab to Morrison Hall

I have 15 mins between my chem lecture and bio lecture on tuesdays and thursday. It appears that Baker Lab and Morrison Hall are across campus from one another. I'm a naturally fast-paced walker (NYer)... Do you think i can make it?

Also, is it a big deal if you're 5 minutes late for a lecture? When I visited in the spring, people were walking in 5, even 10 minutes late

Alright, it is possible to walk across campus within 15 mins. My friend last semester had only 15 mins to walk from Hollister to Riley-Robb, and he made it. So, an answer to your question is yes, it is possible.

It’s not a big deal if you are 5 mins late, but sometimes it’s annoying for (students and) professors, especially if you are in a small class. Also, most professors would give announcements before they start to give lectures. So, being on-time is important.

run for it! i walked from baker (orgo) to morrison (microbio) and i always make it during announcement time. the only bad part is that you get the sucky seats =(

Sorry for bumping this, but I just searched “morrison cornell university” and this came up. I too, am worried about the long walk!

I just got more of my schedule completed…I just realized that I am in those classes with you, and I will be taking the same route! Here’s hoping that we won’t be too out of breath once we reach Morrison!

i think we’ll be okay! i’m planning on taking the bus… 81 and 82 both make stops right outside of morrison hall. i’ll figure it all out during orientation week =)
