<p>I am sorry if this is a repost however I could not find my orginal thread.</p>

<p>I am interested in studying the Balkans at the Ph.D level after I finish my M.A this year. I was wondering if anyone had in reccomendations for programs in the U.S I know UCL is good but I hope to stay in the United States. I am not just looking for the 'Harvards" of the world so any school anyone suggests is welcome. Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>If you're interested in the Balkans, why don't you consider a European school like LSE or somewhere else?</p>

<p>All the good IR schools have European concentrations. Can't your current MA advisor offer some insight as to who's doing research on the region? Or in your own MA research have you not come across names of professors that you could call up and ask?</p>
