Ball State Cabaret in NYC under the direction of Sutton Foster!

All,

Wanted everyone to know that in addition to Ball State’s NY Showcase on Monday, March 10th at 4pm and 7pm at the Theatre Row Studios (410 West 42nd), our senior MT students will be performing at Joe’s Pub on Wednesday, March 12th. The students will perform “Let Yourself Go: The Music of Irving Berlin” at 11:30pm that night. The show is the culmination of a senior cabaret course taught by two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster this past fall. Starting this year, all graduating MT students will take the cabaret course with Ms. Foster in their senior year that will be performed in March at Joe’s Pub. Info on the show can be accessed at the website below:

In addition, all Acting and Musical Theatre students will have workshops and sessions with Ms. Foster during their time at Ball State, as she is an adjunct faculty member on campus. Ms. Foster is one of the many guests Ball State has welcomed this year to campus including Betty Buckley, Kathleen Turner, Michael Rafter (Musical Director and Arranger), Ted Griffin (screenwriter for OCEAN’S ELEVEN), Kenneth Dingledine (Vice-President at Samuel French and Alum), Doug Jones (actor in PAN’S LABRYINTH and HELLBOY and Alum), Eric Emery (Manager/Agent and Alum), and Billy Murphy (Casting Director and Alum) among many others!

I look forward to meeting many of you at the UNIFIED auditions in Chicago! Break A Leg!

Best,
