My D auditioned in Chicago and we haven’t heard anything since she received the email stating “Congratulations you are part of the pool from which we are picking the class”. Glad to know there are others in the same boat:-)

I got that same email and also auditioned in Chicago, but I haven’t heard anything yet either!

When did you get that email stating that you were in the pool of consideration?

We auditioned at NYC Unifieds (and yes, they were taped…only one person there), and got the email on February 13. So far, I have not heard of anyone from NYC Unifieds who has rec’d either an acceptance or a rejection. But of course, the universe is much bigger than CC! There may be plenty of people out there.

D auditioned in Chicago Unifieds and also received the email about still being in consideration. We have not received any further information - phone call, email, letter.

The first round calls have been made, as stated previously. They will be making all wait list offers by the 15th! Does anybody know the rate that the wait-list is used?

I auditioned on Feb 6 in Chicago and got the email Feb 12.

What is the priority waitlist for? Does anyone know the difference between wait list and priority waitlist. So confusing.

DramamamaSD, have you heard something about the waitlisting?

nicksmtmom - Does your son do the campus tours that you sign up for from the general university site (rather than by contacting the MT department directly)? My daughter is a HS junior interested in MT. We are visiting Ball State in a couple weeks, hopefully he will be our host.

Yes, my daughter was put on the priority wait list. She has not received anything in writing as of yet.

When did they start making calls?

My D got her call about 10 days ago.

raellis123…yes, he is “employed” by the admissions department…but I think that if you tell them you are MT prospect, they will try to hook you up with an MT major. I will PM you with his info…he would be sooo honored to be requested!

Thanks nicksmtmom. Got you PM and just responded.

Definitely have your prospective MTer connect with nicksmtmom’s S and friends. They were such a huge part of the incredible experience my S had on campus. I really felt like we got a genuine and well-rounded view of the school as well as the program. Great kids, great school, great program based on first impressions.

Has anyone received any word about wait listing besides dramamamaSD?

My D received her call on the 8th. I think one other parent heard looking at the list of accepted by college name.

Yes my D heard on the 8th as well through a phone call and an e-mail later that day.

Just wondering if anyone else who after Chicago Unifieds got the email stating that “you are on our short list of candidates that we are considering” is still in limbo like my D? Haven’t heard that my D is on a “wait list” or that she’s been rejected. Seems that some have actually gotten rejection emails and some have also received “wait list” emails. We haven’t heard anything since the initial hopeful “short list” email. Anyone?
