Ball State U or IUPUI for Communications Major, PR, Marketing, Sales.. ect.?

Hello,

I would like to first say that I am a freshmen at a community college. I am finishing up my first year at the CC. I know I should stick it out and get my associates degree then transfer so I will have only two more years to do, and less debt but living with my dad is hell on earth, I can no longer do that. Anyways, I know Ball State has been known for its communications department because David Letterman went there and donates a lot of money towards the school, but I am not sure which school would be right for me. I have taken a college visits to IUPUI and BSU and I like the campuses. IUPUI is more known for it's medical programs and BSU is known for exercise and communications programs but I am curious whether or not which one would be the better choice as far as my major. They are both equal as far as decision making, so I have a few basic questions to ask to make a tie-breaker, which school would look better as far as resumes? Which school as more opportunities (internships, job-shadowing) and overall which is a better school?

Random note: My #1 pick out of those would have to be PR. I like public-speaking, writing is okay, but something about public speaking really stands out to me.

Anybody home…?..

I would go with Ball State. In any case, apply to several universities: the choice may be made for you because of financial aid…
Apply very quickly to a few programs (use bigfutures from collegeboard) since the deadline is likely to be this week.
In terms of private universities, Ithaca College and Syracuse Universities are top-notch. Not sure whether they’d be affordable, but check them out.
