Those are the courses it says I have to take...which of these are probably gonna be hard and which ones will be an easy A..obviously chemistry will be hard...and it said i got waved english 103..so do i just take a random class in place of it?.....OK SO THE PARTYING IN LIFE IN COLLEGE...i do like to party although i have the motivation and worth ethic to complete my desired tasks....if i limit my partying to fridays or whenever i don't have much studying nor upcoming tests will i be fine?..people say nursing students have no social life and im a bit worried because of this

What you have heard about nursing school…well yeah it is a big challenge…I do know girls who did well and yet still had a little time to have fun…I know some who worked a full time job and still did well (I pulled an all nighter studying with one of them before a cardiology test…She had pneumonia and kept going anyway).

Just looking at your first semester brings back memories…Chemistry and anatomy…both challenging classes (of coarse I took anatomy as a summer class so was pretty much all I did–lots of memorization)…Do know someone who took anatomy and microbiology at same time that summer and she survived…

So long and short of this post…yeah it is HARD…but if you work and use your time well you should still be able to find some time to spend with friends (you can even have fun with study groups)…Make sure you hit it hard at the beginning of the semester…so you aren’t trying to play catch up later down the road…I tutored a girl in my Anatomy class that waited too long to ask for help-ended up failing the class…it was her 2nd try …however, what she did learn from me was the hard work that she was going to have to put into the class if she wanted to be successful…when she took it the 3rd time…she got an A and she was the student others were coming to for help…

Looking again at the curriculum I am wondering why anatomy is 1st semester of Freshman year and physiology not until 1st semester of Soph year…I don’t like that gap…I would suggest seeing if you could swap the order you take microbiology and physiology…Physiology will teach you how all those body systems function that you just learned in anatomy…taking it a whole year later doesn’t make any sense to me.

Good luck!
