<p>This should be a great event. When the Super Bowl was hosted by New Orleans several years ago, Patriots-Rams, I believe, we went down to the Convention Center for a similar NFL event. It was awesome. There were player autograph tables, lots of games for the kids to play, and many celebrity sightings. It was about the same cost, and there were people there from all over, so we had a great time meeting the out of town fans. The Convention Center area is very nice, and there are many great places to stay and eat around there. A good place to park is what I call the Whale Mural parking lot, near the Riverwalk. It is next to the Hilton Riverside, and there is a beautiful mural of sea life on the side of the building. From this lot, you have easy access to not only the Convention Center, but also our beautiful aquarium, the Riverwalk, for shopping and eating, and the wonderful restaurants in the Convention Center area. Just passing this on for those who want to do some New Orleans exploring while down for the game. </p>
<p>I am glad to see this is open to the public. I think it will be a fun time for all.</p>
<p>I need to ask my daughter if the MDB will be playing at this event. If not, I guess we’ll need to get her a ticket.</p>
<p>She did say there are no parades but several other events where they have to play. Maybe this is one of them.</p>
