Bama bound

anyone else signed up for the May 27th session?

I’m going for that orientation.

Think DS is going to that one too. Will know for sure on Monday.

my DD has prom that weekend, so we might be looking at the one after that.

we are all signed up for that weekend. d is staying the extra night in the dorm. both parents are going to the parent orientation and son is going to the sibling orientation. we are excited. can’t wait to meet everyone.

Our D is attending the May 27-28 session and staying in the dorm the night before too. The Capstone has (or at least last week they had) buy one night, get the second half off during that time. I booked it for the convenience factor!

If we end up g0ing will have to hang out at the bar with you at Capstone!^ I’m planning on staying in the dorm for whatever reason (since it’s just me)… jammie party anyone?

Sounds like a plan!

count us in – we can’t wait to meet everyone.

We’re going June 1 and 2. Is anybody else going that session? Will stay at either the Fairfield or Capstone.

We are going June 1 and 2. My D is staying the extra night in the dorm, my freshman son is doing the sibling orientation and we are staying at the Capstone!

Hope to see you there! I did enjoy the convenience of Capstone for the CBH weekend. Will push for that over the Fairfield for this trip.

my husband is going with my son on May 27 and braving two nights in the dorms.

D & I will be going to the May 27/28 Bama Bound. Waiting on the softball playoff schedule to see if D2 and/or DH will be with us. And I will most certainly be up for meeting for a nightcap with the rest of the group ;)

Don’t forget that you need to bring linens or rent them. However, I don’t know if the rental includes bath towels. Anyone know?

Last year, when my son flew down, the linen rental did include towels. I believe the rental was $10.

We are having to do early honors in May due to scheduling conflicts. Any advice for making the best out of a “short” situation?

Do we need to make a reservation for renting the linens? If so, how do we do that?

Do the linens also include an actual pillow? Or, just the pillow case?

I remember the linens included sheets, towel, wash cloth, pillow and blanket. He needed the blanket, he said. The AC was really pumping in Lakeside, and without it, he would have been very chilly. We paid for the linens when we got there, and if memory serves me right, we did not have to reserve them.
