“Take a look at this “birds-eye” view of the campus and you will see why The University of Alabama has been ranked by thebestcolleges.org as one of ‘The 50 Most Amazing College Campuses for 2014.’”

There must be some reason (safety?) that they are filming this w/ drone when virtually no people are around (except a few seconds of ultimate game). The couple on the porch of the President’s mansion giddily ‘sneaking’ inside made me laugh. Is there a version 3, and beyond? ;)

This one shows more of the campus as a whole, but less of the new science and engineering complex, which is amazing. Both showcase the campus beautifully.

I too prefer this one, and hope they do others. They need to show more of the gorgeous changes to the north side of campus, including the SEComplex.

It’s not due to safety. It’s because they filmed it in the summer and UA is not a very busy summer school. I stumbled upon them several times while they were flying it around. There’s no way safety was a problem because it is up in the air and we are on the ground.

I feel that they did it in the summer just because it was more practical.
