Bama Fabric

MereMom, you misunderstand me! I was calling out Mom2012 for the ‘bottom insultations’, I was simply including you in the bottom grouping.

Perhaps an extra comma would have clarified things.

Hmm. The duel presents many interesting scenarios.

I must ponder.

How about a pajama bottom pose off?

ohhhh, cute! Love the fleeces. I’m sure my crew would love some new A fleece pj bottoms.
May have to order that fabric and get them some for Valentines.

Hancocks had some really cute small wale cord that I got and had placemats, table runner and a Christmas Tree skirt, and Christmas stockings made with a crushed crimson velvet trim. Found a ribbon that was black/white houndstooth with the crimson trim on it as well that I used on the Christmas Tree in the dining room to go w/ the table setting.

See if this works.

Ooooo TxNewCollegeMom, very, very nice.

NRDMOM, I will crimson jello wrestle you for whatever lovely goods our fellow CC mommies can come up with.

TXNew, great job! I may copy those place settings!

I’m posting a pic of some of the pillows I made for my daughter and some of her friends. The one that is cut off is the basic “Keep Calm and Roll On”.

I am always looking for Alabama Fabric (still crossing my fingers my DD will be there in the fall) I have made houndstooth infinity scarves, pm me if interested!!!

I usually purchase my Alabama fabric from Joann’s or Hancock. Having a teacher discount helps a bit. My mom is the family seamstress. She has made my sons several Bama throw pillows and two vests for me – and I wore them on consecutive days this week. ROLL TIDE!

Super cute pillows, lattelady! I wish I could so that kind of large scale embroidery with my machines (Bernina and Pfaff).

2012Mom - if it weren’t for my bad back…

Lattelady, TOO CUTE! I want the Texas one
The houndstooth Roll Tide and Keep Calm are nice!

My D has already threatened me if I bring any more houndstooth in the house :(

I’ll get a pic of the blanket we did for her for Christmas.
It is the large houndstooth fleece and the red fleeces did not meet our criteria for the right “crimson”. So, we got some really pretty red furry fabric that is super soft. 2 1/2 yards of each and sewed them together. That blanket is HEAVY! She loves it.

Thanks, y’all! It’s fun to see what people are doing.

MereMom, I use a Bernina. If your machine can take the jumbo hoop, it’s the best thing since sliced bread!

This is the blanket we made for D for Christmas. It is so comfy. She loves it.

TxNewCMom
My daughter & I want your blanket! It is awesome and looks so comfy!

Y’all should really take orders for your work. I’d buy them! Love the pillows, Lattelady!

Actually…I love all of them…placemats, blankets…all of it. Thanks for posting the pics.

So many cute things! WalMart has Alabama fabric…at least the stores in Alabama do.

Southlander, is the Bama fabric at Walmart a lot less than what I see online?

latteladay: Your pillows are awesome, any desire to sell some? I see an Etsy store in your future!

Don’t know; I’ll have to look next time I venture into the beast.

I would DEFINITELY buy these types of items made with such pride! I really like that houndstooth blanket. A very creative gift idea.

I don’t know my way around a sewing machine, so I will leave these endeavors to the obviously talented ladies present… :)

Roll Tide!
