<p>A quick question for anyone who has used the Bama Payment Plan. We’re signed up for automatic payments but no payment is showing on the Sallie Mae site for yesterday. Is this because it is a weekend and takes longer to post? Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks.</p>
<p>I did not sign up for automatic payment but it did take a day or so for my payment to post. I believe you have a grace period of 11 days so if you are concerned about a late fee I don’t think you have to worry. </p>
<p>I received an e-mail today from Sallie Mae that said payments take 24-48 hours to post.</p>
