BAMM Complex Rumors?

<p>I guess I should start off by saying that I'm disappointed at how freshmen no longer have the privilege to choose the specific dorm hall they want to stay in. I applied for housing at New Brunswick with Busch as my top choice, and if I could have chosen, I'd have picked to live in Allen. I was over at Rutgers a few weeks ago talking to some friends who go there and they told me that RU is turning Mattia into a male-only dorm, and I was wondering if that's true? If it is, that blows...now there's only Allen, Metzger, and Davidson left on Busch for me - I'm a female and I'm not in Engineering so Barr is out of the question for me too.</p>

<p>Another question I had was, what are the chances of me ending up in Davidson? I applied for housing the day the application was released so I'm not worried about getting screwed out of my top choice, but I am worried about ending up in Davidson...I heard it SUCKS.</p>

<p>Davidson isn't that bad of a place, from what I've heard. You'll learn once you get to college to adapt to the place you live very quickly, and you should be more concerned about idiot neighbors blasting music and things like that.</p>

<p>I live in Mattia this year, and our RA says Mattia will be all male next year. As for where you end up its a crap shoot, although Davidson C (there is 4 Davidson Halls) is all girls so you could end up there. I know a lot of people who live in Davidson and they don't say any negative things. Oh and the thing about choosing which dorm, the current freshman this year (my class) couldn't choose buildings either so I don't know where you heard you could choose which hall you wanted to live in.</p>
