Current favorite: Audioslave

All time favorite: the Eagles

In my humble opinion, all other bands pale in comparison.

Yea Audioslave is a good band.

Tom Morrello is a good guitarist... I liked Zach de la Rocha's style more with Tom's guitar, but Audioslave has a good message. Chris Cornell was awesome in Soundgarden, and has done well with Audioslave.

I think 311 is a band that needs to be listened to, if for no other reason than to relish the drummer's skills.

Tool, Tesla, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Atmoshphere, Prince, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Depeche Mode, Suicidal Tendencies, Eminem, Duncan Sheik, Local H, Jack Johnson, Our Lady Peace, Sublime, Boston, and The Who should also be looked into....give yourself a good emotional variety so your life is not plain.

Of course, this is all IMHO.

why hasn't anyone mentioned the beatles.

Feeder
Autopilot Off.

Fountainsiren! "Bleachin' your teeth, smiling flash, talking trash, under your breath..."

You're the only other person I know that listens to Broken Social Scene (I hate their name) and that song is totally my high school anthem.

um, don't forget the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys.

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THEIR MUSIC!!!!

Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
And then some broadway showtunes

Great, all of the bands in the original post suck. This might as well be "post your musical tastes", but I'll chime in anyways since I listen to so much music. I'll just put less popular stuff.

Deep Purple (second favorite band ever, behind Floyd)
The Yardbirds
Yes
Rainbow
The Pogues
Jethro Tull
Fleetwood Mac (first two albums with Peter Green, they started to suck after he left)
John Mayall's Bluesbreakers
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Tesla (holy ****, someone mentioned this already, well done)

The Yardbirds!!! WOOT! But where's Led Zeppelin?

Deep Purple rocks for making Metallica what it is.

Not a band, but Sinatra is god.
