Bands Everyone Should Listen To

<p>Mmm Aqualung is really good.</p>

<p>Efflugent,</p>

<p>Anthems For A Seventeen Year-Old Girl is one of the greatest lyrical-stills ever; really, **Cin</p>

<p>I second for Ted Leo!
I would also recommend Asobi Seksu.</p>

<p>I loved Aqualung's soundtrack too last year...</p>

<p>At the moment, i'm into Mattafix - Signs of a Struggle (soundtrack) and Fort Minors The Rising Tied. Obviously I'm listening to other music as well, but I just thought I'd cite these two albums coz they are real good imo</p>

<li><p>Rolling Stones</p></li>
</ol>

<p>...nothing else matters</p>

<p>Is Aqualung a band? or are you referring to the famous Jethro Tull track?</p>

<p>Its some Brit one man show.</p>

<p>yeah, Aqualung prolly doesn't qualify as a band...</p>

<p>Did anybody see the band that played on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night? The singer plays the piano, and he's pretty good.... I appreciated that song they sang last night. Something about deep dark blue, alone in a crowded room, I'm here with you. Anybody know of it?</p>

<p>Everyone on CCs NEEDS to listen to Streetlight Manifesto.</p>

<p>They are a ska band with incredible horn sections, insane bass lines, and best of their lyrics.</p>

<p>Sample of their song "The Big Sleep":
the last two soldiers on the battlefield
survivors of the war
they aim at one another while their mothers beg the lord
"if you're listening, i'm missing him
so somehow bring him home
how did it come to this?"
so the soldiers lift their rifles and
they're aiming at the head
they think of their first love before they take their final breaths
and somewhere in the distance
they hear something someone said: "how did it come to this?"</p>

<p>Also check out Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution
Same band but more people and all acoustic instruments. One of their songs called "Its Wonderful Life," is about a guy who gets sent off to war trying to comfort his wife. Its and absolutely incredible song. Plus their album is free, get it here

<p>Actually, I just noticed the above poster is Michelle and she recommended me Sigur Ros.</p>
