Bank Accounts (Cornellians which bank is most convenient and efficient) PART 2

Just wondering which bank branch should I create an account.
I don't want to be charged incredibly high fees for the many
transactions to be made in school.

PS So which service should i get for most reliable for fancy phones?

thanks alot ! see you soon :P

there should probably be a few bank of america there..
the problem i guess with bank of america is that it's interest is low as I've been told.. but i think they are pretty common and thus convenient though

verizon...

Verizon

Bank of america is good; there is a BOA ATM in collegetown. Theres also a BOA branch in cayuga heights. Thats what I use. A lot of people use Tompkins Trust Company and some sort of Cornell credit union with which I am not familiar. However I like BOA because its national, so my parents can dump money in it from back home and such.

anybody else have any thoughts/opinions on which bank to use in ithaca, specifically for an international (canada) incoming freshmen. Can my parents dump money from canada somewhere, and i get the money in such banks as bank of america? tomkins trust? etc.? I hear alot of ppl have tompkins, should i get that?

Tomkins has more locations, and caters more to students, but either would work.
