Bank of America Student Leadership Summer Internship 2016

They’ll send out emails in APRIL when you don’t get in. Be patient, guys.

I think they will send emails regardless if you get in or not.
Which districts/markets are you guys from? Did you guys have interviews?

@summerlovin1 Sorry for replying so late! For my hours, I listed NHS, HOSA, public library, nursing home, a local youth program, church assistance. To be honest, I didn’t have as many hours as other applicants, but I think what mattered most was the quality of the essays. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll hear back soon.

Hey guys! I applied for the CA Bay Area, particularly South Bay, market. Do you know if it’s competitive? I haven’t heard back from them yet but I really want to know soon.

From what I know, the program is competitive… No doubt about that…
Yet again, it depends on what district you are from. NYC tends to be extremely competitive. Same goes for any major cities across the United States.
This year, NYC had 200 applications and 20 were selected for an interview.
I am grateful I had one, but I’m not too sure about you guys.
Which districts are you guys from and did you guys had any interviews?
We need to wait until April to find out if we are in or not.
Good luck!

LA County market…still haven’t recieved news

Haven’t heard anything from Houston… last year major cities heard back all on the same day, April 2nd.

No word here in San Antonio, TX. I am curious how many Texans applied. Texas is a BIG state so it was divided into 5 markets. I guess in a few more weeks we will all find out the results. Wishing everyone the very best.

Has anyone heard from the Long Island market, I haven’t heard anything yet but i know the New York City market has started interviews. Hope the best for everyone!

I thought it was the Nassau and Suffolk markets (for long island)?
Either way, brook, I haven’t heard anything

This wait is unbearable, lol.

Hey guys, I applied as well and yes the wait is unbearable! haha I am from San Bernardino County… Anyone else?

It’s annoying, but I think everyone should know by early April.

It’s just we all are eager to hear something, anything. The anticipation of wanting to know is really why we are posting and reading comments. If you look at other threads some people found out as early as late February. We are all in the same boat and it is OKAY to post that you have not received anything yet and if you want to express concern go for it. We should be on this thread to support and encourage one another. Let hope some good news SOON. Keep posting.

I’ve already gotten into other programs, so if they don’t respond soon I will have already committed to other things which would suck haha

It looks like most people found out April 2nd last year.

Counting down to that date!!

Hi! I applied for the Houston market and was one of the twenty called back for an interview! My interviewer told me that if you were not selected for the interview for the Houston market specifically, you were no longer being considered. I just thought I would relay this info and it is possible that my interviewer could have been wrong.

@Michael427 Thanks for letting us know!! Did your interviewer say anything about a date on when they would release acceptances?

Early to mid April!
