I've heard about this UM Credit Union but that sounds pretty small for me and wouldn't be good after I graduate. Is there another bank with ATM's on campus?

Well, you’ll get an MCard when you go to orientation, which is basically your school ID. This can also double as a TCF Bank Card so I would assume a lot of people use that. I do, but I only keep some money in it because the ATMs are on campus and I always have my MCard with me.

I have most of my money in Key Bank though, and will probably use that after college.

My friends from out of state and I mostly use national banks. Bank of America, Chase, and PNC ATMs are on South U. I’ve found it much more convenient to have the same bank at home as I do at school.

How close/far are these to the campus?

This bank survey may help.

JPM Chase or B of A. Support the domestic BBs.

Pft, screw Bank of America. At least go with a bank that pays taxes… if there is one.

I had a TCF account and closed it when they did away with free checking. I got BOA instead and have been happier with that anyway. I use the atm by espresso royale on south u.

There’s a PNC branch somewhere on south campus, and a PNC ATM machine (and I think a TCF but not positive) in the union.
