Bank or ATM at Rhodes?

<p>Hi folks,</p>

<p>Trying to do some planning for my son, to setup his banking. Does anyone know what ATMs or banks are located on or just near the Rhodes campus?</p>

<p>During our search, we found Regions Bank, which has an ATM over at the Memphis Zoo. Regions Bank has an additional advantange for us, in that they have a branch near where we live (Branson, MO). So obviously that's pretty convenient. And they offer free checking!</p>

<p>It looks like there are several Suntrust branches near the Rhodes campus as well, but it doesn't look like they're really walking distance.</p>

<p>Just want to know if there are any other options. I did a Yahoo Map search and found no banks at Rhodes itself.</p>

<p>My son opened up a Suntrust account just to have access to local money. His main debit card account is a US Bank account and there are no branches of that anywhere close to Rhodes. I thought that he said there was an ATM on campus and that was why he chose Suntrust, but I could be mistaken and it is just close by. He is not available to ask right now, but I will check into it with him.</p>

<p>In the Open Rhodes Resource Book that new students received, there is a section on Memphis Banking Options (p. 29) The section lists five banks in the area and says that SunTrust Bank is the only one with an ATM on campus (student center).</p>
