Banks

What's the best bank (with most ATMs) at Princeton?

Good and interesting question.

Wachovia is probably the best

no way, probably chase or city bank. wachovia, pshhh...

There are a bunch of banks with branches right on Nassau Street (see http://www.princeton.edu/pr/pub/sg/chap1.html#anchor11). However, by far the most convenient thing to use are the ATMs in Frist. I know that the Princeton Credit Union, which many students use and which sends out a Princeton-endorsed application form to prefrosh over the summer, has one of the ATMs. Maybe a couple of other banks maintain the others.

Not sure whether or not users of banks without Frist ATMs can use Frist ATMs without paying fees. Personally, I make myself go to the Nassau Street branch to get cash anyway; it cuts down on frivolous spending! If you plan to do that, all of the banks are essentially the same.

first time i saw wachovia was in the east coast...we dont have wachovia here :(

The dorms aren't air-conditioned, and unless you want to melt into your bed, a fan is vital. Air conditioners are not permitted.

None of the dorms are air-conditioned!? I find that hard to believe.

Some dorms are air conditioned.

I use Bank of America/Fleet, theres a branch on Nassau and an ATM in Frist.

Thanks everyone

Do you happen to know offhand which ones are?

Not really sure but I know Ellipse (Bloomberg) does, but its upperclass. Of the underclass dorms I think the Main Inn of Forbes is air conditioned and possibly Witherspoon and/or Little.

Cool. Thanks.

Anyone know if there's a Wells Fargo ATM out there?

Use Bank of America. They have a bank on Nassau and an ATM in Frist as well. Very convenient.
