<p>@pleiotropy Congrats! That’s quite the enviable situation! If the difference between Princeton and UMD is book costs, that’s an incredibly awesome deal. If you do pursue P, you could definitely reduce book costs through a bunch of different methods (Xeroxing library books, buying secondhand, borrowing etc.). </p>

<p>I was able to find out that my daughter received the full. Tomorrow is her birthday so it was a great present!!</p>
<p>Didn’t have to call because I got the letter today in the mail!!! Full scholarship!! I have never been so happy in my entire life!! It’s a dream come true! :’) Enrolling in UMD!! :D</p>

<p>Does the Banneker Key Scholarship cover the $400 fee for enrollment? I want to continue with the enrollment process, but it says I mustn’t continue with the process if I’m not ready to pay the $400. Does anyone know the answer to this? Do I have to pay it? </p>

<p>@astrogirl : The $400 is covered with the full. When you go to next screen it will tell you that no payment is required and then screen after that confirms your enrollment.</p>

<p>BK just showed on the Student Financial Aid Award Package page!</p>
<p>It says:
Select “My Awards” from the menu to the left to complete and submit your award notification
and there it is.</p>
<p>But my son’s departmental award isn’t showing there, and the drop-down menus for “Other Aid” don’t seem to fit – I guess it could just fall under the “Other” category, but seems a bit strange since it’s a UMd award. Oh, well.</p>
