If you’re on the west coast, thanks to snail mail it may not be until Saturday or Monday (3 to 4 days). Hard to sit tight, especially knowing first candidate’s day is Monday (if accepted) and everything else is in from other schools.

Where can you find info on candidates’ days?

Hey everyone, in an effort to figure out what is going on, I thought we could all post information on ourselves that might lead us to a conclusion. I’ll do mine first.

I applied RD, for Financial Aid, and sent in all supporting documents.

When I log in, I see a section under Student Services that says:
Review status of application for admissions; Register for classes; Display your class schedule; View your holds; Display your grades & transcripts; Review your Financial Aid information; Planning Your First Year; Submit your undergraduate degree application on-line and make a tuition/fee payments.

When I click into admissions, and hit “Display Applications” my application is now gone.

When I click into Financial Aid, I have a list of all the documents I sent in. Three tabs are in there, including: “Student requirements,” “Requirement messages,” and “Academic Progress.”

If anyone would like to contact the admissions office, that seems like a good idea.

I don’t want to contact admissions because I don’t want to find out if what I’m seeing means I’m rejected.

My application disappeared but I only have application and financial aid. But under financial aid it says the my parents tax returns are received but still reviewing. Does anyone else have this? It hasn’t been updated since February 22 however.

I received a likely letter, and I cannot access my application information. The financial aid links are still available (although I did not apply for financial aid). Good luck everyone!

My D’s screen is the same as YuppittTales, with exception of financial aid. She applied RD, did not apply for financial aid, and did not receive a likely letter or any recent emails.

get2015: Here’s the link to the admitted students events. Admissions said Realize Richmond Days are April 4 and 18, and Experience Richmond is April 16.

[Admitted Student Events, Undergraduate Admission, University of Richmond](http://admissions.richmond.edu/admitted/events2.html)

Today, people noticed a new paragraph with information regarding classes, tuition, etc. upon entering the bannerweb page. No new tabs appear to have been established. If any reader has new tabs, can you let us know? But then again, what would this knowledge serve? It will not get a student into Richmond. Unfortunately, many of us are frustrated waiting for so long. The entire college process, especially anticipation of acceptance can be aggravating, particularly near the end. Many schools process information prior to deadline they have set, but I think Richmond (and other schools) were blindsided by the sheer volume of this year’s applications. If UR did not anticipate this (and who could) the number of counselors to review the applications was most likely the same as last year. The lesson learned is we, as parents, cannot expect something before it is promised to be delivered, and UR will most likely review their utilization of their admissions blog for next year. They will need to determine how to effectively use it to disseminate information on a more timely fashion for RD’s waiting for an answer.

There are over 1400 views (since this morning) yet only a handful of replies. By the weekend, we will be able to determine if we are correct in interpreting what we see on the bannerweb or fooled by what we have read.

Good luck to everyone during this (final) journey with your student. Yuppittales, you made great points. I hope in fact you are accepted and are looking forward to four great years at UR!

does anyone have their parent’s tax forms under the unsatisfied column of financial aid, saying its being reviewed?

We are not even looking. However, if you have extra tabs, probably a good sign - it was with BC.

You guys have extra tabs now?!?!?! That’s even more bad news for me.

Since applying to Richmond, I haven’t received an email, likely letter or heard back from them at all. It’s as if they forgot I applied there. I’m interpreting all of this as a negative sign.

I don’t have extra tabs nor have ever received a single email, likely letter, or anything so you are not alone.

Wait, what the others are saying is that there are not additional tabs, but rather, when some look under the Student Services heading there’s additional language under that (see Yuppittales details). Whereas, before it simply said “review status of application of admission.” My D did not receive a likely letter and hasn’t heard anything, but the added language is there.

On the Admissions Blog, it was stated yesterday that “most” packets went out yesterday (the 29th). It also said that no e-mail notifications are sent. Best of luck.

Son received Fedex envelope today from Admissions office. We only live 7 miles from the University.

Luckily, we already know he is admitted, since he was a Richmond scholars finalist. I believe, remembering from other son, that packet will contain financial aid offer as well.

Good luck to everyone!

So far I’ve only read of “accepted” Fed Ex letters being mailed? We haven’t received the Fed Ex so I’m assuming D is rejected. Assuming we will get a letter in the snail mail??? So unprofessional on Richmond’s part!

Also phoned school to verify about Fed Ex and Snail Mail and was told that they were not at liberty to share that information!

I totally agree…

I didn’t get a Fed Ex package either. I guess I get rejected.

writeone and dropofred: Did the summary under Student Services change as described on this board change on your bannerwebs?
