So does anybody know how the suites in Barclay work? Is the middle room also a common room? How much room do the side single rooms have ......... and what should we bring for the common room ?????? THanks!

I lived in Barclay last year in one of the side rooms. They aren't very big, but they are adequate. Some of the side rooms are a little bigger than others. If you're in a "B" room on the side of the building that faces Founder's, or an "A" Room on the side that faces Barclay beach, then your room is about 80 inches wide and 11 ft or so long. If you're in one of the other side rooms, your room is a bit narrower. The rooms are just big enough to hold everything, but don't have a lot of extra room. I found that because my room was kinda small it meant that I actually kept it really clean :-).
Becuase the C room is someone's room, most suites don't really use it as a common room. We kept our fridge in the middle room, but other than that we didn't have any common stuff in the middle. The extent to which you want to use the middle room as a common area is up to you and your roomates although remember that even the middle room is not huge.
