Questions, comments, etc. Looking forward to hearing from other prospective students who have applied to Bard!

Bard has no writing supplement this year on CA, is that correct or I’m missing something somewhere? I know that at this point it doesn’t matter anymore but I just freak out finding out that they did have it those previous years…
@rotckid No writing supplement this year, that’s correct.
Does anyone know when Bard will mail/post the decisions?
@rociokristal I couldn’t find an exact date anywhere. Everything I’ve seen just says the end of March. Maybe you could call and ask
Just a note - when my D was accepted a few years back, it came in a small (but thick) envelope.
Does anyone know if it will be released online/email this year or by snail mail as stradmom* said
@squidster No one really knows.
If it helps, EA was snail mail–and a very thin envelope for an acceptance!
Yes, EA was a regular (slightly thicker) business sized envelope. And then the online admissions status page was updated about a week later. But the letter came first, snail mail. And good luck to all the RD applicants who are waiting to hear!
got my rejection on march 8th saying that my “financial needs exceed” Bard’s budget… they must have a pretty low budget for international students in that case!
Is anyone else a prospective computer science major?
i know that some people have heard, but i can’t find my decision on the portal and i have no idea when they’re releasing them so i’m a bit confused. help? (:
@polarbear1213 I did not receive a decision yet either. I was under the impression that Bard mailed their admission decisions at the end of March. That would explain why there is no indication of your admission status on the portal. If that is the case, we should be hearing back through snail mail any day now.
In all past years Bard mailed the decisions to domestic students - in a small envelope. Only international students were contacted by email. And @chickpeas if you feel like Bard underestimated the amount you and your family can contribute to your education you can ask them to review their decision.
Posted on the Bard website today: “Admission Decision Release: Portals will go live at 12:00 p.m. EDT on 3.28.15.”

@musicmom3000 Thank you so much!!
Good to know @musicmom3000 - looks like they’ve switched things up this year.

@aliefmoulana It worked for me as well…
