Would someone be willing to speak about Bard’s math department and its level of rigor. Would you say it’s innovative? Would it satisfy a math-keen student? I know there are other schools that are known for math but right now Bard is at the top of our list of offers.

I mentioned this privately, but thought to post here, too. Bard is very open to tutorials - there are many classes taught one on one, or with just a few students - focused on either the student’s or professor’s particular area of interest or speciality. So if the general course offerings seem like they might be limited, there is always that further option to take under consideration.
For math I would encourage prospective students to explore the interests and backgrounds of the faculty - as well as to reach out to them with any questions.
