Which one? Help me decide? Any and all reasons. Thanks

1) Wesleyan, if you intend to major in science; 2) Bard, if you like a secluded campus and a fairly intimate relationship with just about everyone; 3) Wesleyan, if you like a bit more edge to your social life (vehicular traffic, townies, walking on sidewalks.)

Can you provide more info on the sciences at W? Thanks

I'm an astronomy/physics double major at Wes. I'd be happy to tell you about it. What would you like to know?

Matt, I would like to know how difficult physics is there, how small/big classes are, research opportunities, competitiveness between students, accessibility of teachers and the like. Many thanks.

Wesleyan is GREAT in the sciences. Go to wesleyan.edu and then admissions, and there is info about Wes in science. Also, many science departments have programs where you pay for four years and then stay for you fifth year FREE and get your master's. So, you skip a year AND you don't have to pay. Many science programs have small Phd programs, which gives Wes a greater edge in course offerings than most schools.

Honestly, I really can't think of a very good reason to choose Bard over Wes- both have very similar student bodies and types, but Wesleyan has a better academic rep and is in a much better location.
