Bard vs. The New School (especially regarding career offices)?

hey y’all,
i am very stuck.
the college process has been much rockier than i anticipated; i have only been accepted to two schools out of the eleven that i originally replied to (i am still waiting to hear back from reed, but that isn’t definite yet, so this post can only really be about the two definite options).
financially, i am technically able to go to both schools. bard gave me nothing. the new school gave me a lot of money, though, and one of my parents works there, so i get an extra discount. i realize that bard is a technically “better” school, but i’d really kill to stay in my hometown (NYC). in my mind, the deal breaker is how good each career office is in getting people in touch with the outside world, especially for poli sci/urban studies (since that’s most likely what i’ll major in).
can anyone help me out?
