<p>So, I'm a caucasian middle-class female (yeah...) who's a lifelong Florida resident. I've applied to 10 schools total:
Florida State - accepted
Univeristy of Florida
University of Miami (early action)
Tulane University - accepted, Presidential Scholarship
Boston University
University of Chicago (early action)
Swarthmore
Columbia
Harvard
Yale</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0 UW
Rank: 3/354
My school is only 4 years old, most graduates go to state universities, and none have been accepted to any of the Ivies (closest: Duke)

Essay: about my love of writing; I think that this is basically the selling point for my apps</p>

<p>really great. but it would be nice to close the 110 point difference between your math and reading scores on the SAT.</p>

<p>I think you have a great shot at most of those schools. The only weakness you have lies in your lack of ECs. Good luck!</p>
