Hi guys!
I just wanted to make a thread for us to get to know each other
I’m Crosby, I’m from Kansas City, MO originally, but I go to boarding school just outside of Boston.
I love languages, and I either want to major in English with a focus in Creative Writing or Linguistics.
Hey! I’m Emma from Minneapolis, MN. I love languages too! I take Spanish and French, and am interested in Linguistics and premed. I’m so excited to get to know you all! Maybe we could make a Facebook group?
Hi!! I’m Eva and I’m from Connecticut and I’m planning on majoring in psych and possibly double majoring or minoring in women’s studies WOOO BARNARD!!!
Hey all! I’m Annie, I’m from a small Washington (state) town halfway between Seattle and Olympia
I’m planning to major in either International Relations or Political Science, and minor in Women’s Studies! I’m also looking to study dance! I’m so excited, Barnard has been my dream for the longest time!
Hi! I’m Jadie from Washington D.C. (just outside of it, actually, but D.C. sounds cooler than Maryland). I’m planning on majoring in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies! I’m so excited to meet all of you!!!
HI I’m Madeleine! I’m from San Diego California, and I plan on majoring in double majoring in Political Science and ARt History. I also love theatre so I’m hoping to keep that as a part of my studies. Still in shock, but so excited!!
Is anyone part of the Facebook group that could add me?
Also @jadestills so cool to meet another Washington (even though we’re from different Washingtons…) girl hoping to study Poli Sci and Women’s Studies!
@hpfulbnbear That is so cool! Let me know if you want to compare our wildly different Washingtons/talk about Poli Sci and Women’s studies! And if there isn’t already a FB group I’m willing to set one up.
Hey guys! So I’m super super excited to meet all of you – but just one quick insecure question. I obviously thought it through beforehand, but is anyone else kinda nervous about going to a women’s college? Or just me?
Congratulations to all you awesome ladies!! I hope to be joining you all on campus for the Class of 2021 Have an amazing rest of your respective senior years!!!
Hi everyone! I’m from a teeny tiny, cornfield town in Ohio. I’m looking to study International relations, but taking science and math courses to prepare me for med school! Can’t wait to meet all of you
@PBJELLY112: I have friends at both Barnard and Columbia College and they say that Barnard is as much a “women’s college” as you want it to be. It is, after all, part of Columbia University, so you won’t be isolated and can take as many, or as few, courses at Columbia as you want. In other words, you can have the best of both worlds.
