Starting a RD Class of 2024 application thread just because I noticed there’s not one yet! I applied two weeks ago for RD and am super nervous because I feel like I’m a strong applicant but it’s so hard to tell with a school like this. Has anyone else on here already applied RD?
I haven’t applied for RD yet. Hopefully I will in December! I’m super nervous too. Good luck!
I applied RD although Barnard is my top choice. I am also applying for ROTC scholarships there - finances were the only reason I didn’t do ED. Good luck to everyone!
Hey, my FAFSA received date has changed from the date I submitted it to today’s date. Has anyone else’s changed?
mine hasn’t
mine hasn’t either
does anyone what to do desicions come out
in the previous years its been the second to last week of march
likely letters came out on 2/15 last year!! that would be /tomorrow/ this year
not expecting anything… barnard is already a long shot for me ahahah
Same here!!! But I can’t help but fantasize about getting one I hate this waiting:/
what are likely letters??
@gilliangrace they’re basically early unofficial acceptances. You’ll get an email saying that your admissions decision will be favorable in march. You went get any financial aid package or anything until march when you get your formal acceptance
theyre not very common tho most people wont get one
Likely letters are notices sent out by colleges that say something along the lines of “we haven’t made any official decisions yet and can’t make any guarantees, but based on our initial review of your app, it’s very likely that you’ll be admitted.” They’re generally reserved for recruited athletes and really extraordinary students. (also, from an ED admit, good luck to you all! I hope y’all get some of those likely letters!)
is there a snap/ig group chat for RD applicants?
Any likely letters received?
Has anyone received a likely letter yet?
does anyone know which day it came out last year/previous years or know which day it’s gonna come out this year, applied RD and I’m super nervous!!
@mmendoza27 - They say late March, whatever that means .
