Barnard Bound 2019

Hey guys, has anyone heard back from Barnard Bound 2019? I was looking at the 2018 forum and apparently, decisions started coming out late July…

Hi I was about to make a 2019 forum, haven’t heard back but they said mid August I think

I made a 2019 forum before I stumbled upon this… oops!! I haven’t heard back either, I’m so nervous :frowning:

I just got an email about my acceptance! I hope you got in too!!

Hi I just got in too I’m so excited!

Ahhhh! I just got in too! Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for this program?

Hi, I received an acceptance email today

I got in! I was not expecting to but I’m so excited!

Did anyone else apply to Barnard Bound on here??? I’m so nervous… I really hope I get it as Barnard is my dream school!

I also just got my acceptance! Can’t wait to meet everyone in person:)

I got in too! I can’t wait to meet all of you

Hey, ladies! I was accepted to Barnard Bound last year and it was such a blast! From what I was told, the acceptance rate was around 11% last year, so congratulate yourself on being accepted!
I made a few friends who I still keep up with today - I’m even planning to visit one lady who decided to attended Columbia in a few months!

Feel free to PM and ask me questions about my experience. You’re gonna love it, and congratulations once again!

Hi! Did you also end up going to Barnard? Thank you!

Hi, I also got accepted! Does anyone have any idea about this year’s acceptance rate?

@hazel1 Hello! I was actually waitlisted, but I am trying again as a transfer next application season!

Hey guys so I got rejected from Barnard bound 2019, but I am wondering is it because I live in nyc and I visited Barnard beginning of July?? I am really scared because Barnard is dream college and if they reject me here I don’t know if I will get into Barnard college.

it probably is because you’re a new york resident! from what I know, these school fly-in programs really try to avoid people in their area in order to allow students further away to visit their school before applications

@SuperBigMusicLover did Barnard allow you to go off campus on your own? A couple of us who are going to Bound wanted to explore NYC before the event starts (technically begins around 7 on Saturday) and were wondering if we could leave campus before that time.

@sweaterqueen So sorry for the late reply, but we weren’t allowed to explore the city until after the day’s activities were over, and our host had to be with us. A few girls and I did go over to Columbia, but we could not explore the city due to safety reasons.

Edit: oh, did Barnard Bound happen already? I’m so sorry.
