Thank You!!

Since no one else has replied, I’ll give this question a shot. My daughter was accepted to the class of 2018. Your stats look within the range of accepted students. However, keep in mind that these stats are only a part of the equation. So if you are just wondering if you are within the range, then yes. You’ll have to see what your SAT or ACT scores are. I would recommend you look at the threads for early decision and regular decision 2018 as students have posted their stats and whether they were admitted, waitlisted, or rejected. You’ll see a whole range: students with stellar stats who were rejected, students with stats in the low range who were accepted. Schools are looking not just for individuals but a group of students who will form a class. It may seem random, but I think most schools do a good job of choosing students who will work well together, will be happy at the school, and will flourish as well as contribute (in the broad sense) to the school. Just because someone is rejected, it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be able to excel at the school. In short, if Barnard is one of the schools you want to apply to, then, yes, you have demonstrated that you are in their range for academic aptitude.
