@barnardhopeful1 I just looked through last year’s thread and they found out around 6:20 pm (I’m not even applying ED to Barnard and I’m super excited for the ED results)

@teenwitch awesome! Did you get to visit Barnard and sit in a class? When I sat in the anthro class, it was almost like witnessing a debate. The discussion was incredibly powerful, and I was blown away by the class participating. That’s the type of environment I want to be in. I hope you get accepted and take classes from Professor Scott! He’s VERY passionate about his work and you can definitely see it in his teaching. Hey, I sat in for just ONE class and I could tell!

So I’ve been following this discussion forever, but just decided to make an account. I’m also an ED applicant and the anticipation is boiling inside of me! After I got the black book I was excited and then last night hearing the news we would know in a week?! IM SO PUMPED. Anyways, I’m from a small, small town in Ohio but Barnard is my absolute dream… (Isn’t it all of ours though?) Good luck to everyone!

@ellesea I know exactly what you mean! I had to brace myself for the end of each episode because I knew something totally out of left field would happen! Talk about that season finale… I don’t watch any other Shonda shows either, but I might just start on Scandal too! A big Grey’s death was spoiled for me on Yahoo, so I’ve stayed away as well. I’m just the biggest spoilers magnet in the world. :’)

literally all of you are so cool i’m dying woo! 6 days!! i literally have a countdown going :~) it’s so weird to think that this time next week we’ll know…tbh i’m praying that i get in bc 1) i love barnard and 2) i don’t want to deal with the supplements i’ve been procrastinating on tbh
@teenwitch Same omg I have a countdown widget set up on my phone. I just spent a considerable amount of time color coding and organizing all of my folders on Google Docs with the rest of my supplements and user information. Prepared for rejection ~O) I also just added some Canadian schools to my list (no writing thankfully, but there’s a lot of sending of forms that needs to be done).

Did anyone not get an email from Barnard regarding the acceptance letters?? Do you think that not geting one would reduce my chances??
I don’t think that not receiving an email says anything about your chances of getting in… but you should probably check in with them in case they have the wrong email or something like that. I wouldn’t worry about it
@ab32312 I agree with @schmocklock but if you check on the Barnard Office of Admissions Facebook page, there is a post that says to remember to check your spam folder and to also add the admissions email as a contact if you haven’t received the email. If those two don’t work, then I’d definitely contact them to confirm you’re on the mailing list!

Could the fact that I am an international student also be a potential reason for not getting an email?
