@beepboop344 lmao no way I have a calc test tomorrow too!!
why couldn’t they specify the time :((
I’m so so so nervous. It’s always been my dream to go to college in NYC at such an amazing school, so I hope Barnard pulls through. Most people don’t even know what Barnard is where I’m from. I’ve been accepted to UCLA and UCSB (OOS) but rejected from Northwestern. Good luck to all and make this wait go faster
@alwayslate17 DKM THIS IS FATE LOL we need to get off this site and study
@ghvan99 i see. i know one girl who applied ED to barnard and got in! and i applied to
McGill
McMaster
Laurier
Waterloo
UofT—woodsworth
Western
and so far i have got accepted to all but im waiting for McGill and McMaster. You?
No way calc test here too!!! I can’t seem to get any studying done these past few days I’m getting wayy too anxious
@flutist189 crazy! and SAME i cant study at all nevermind sleep, these admissions are the only thing on my mind…
They always seem to release decisions anytime between 5-6 PM CST, so I think it’s 6-7 EST. Good luck to you all!
I totally expected barnard to come out next week, so i was doing all fine and all with the studying until i saw the email. it just threw me off
oh god I’m babysitting starting at 6pm on thursday… this should be interesting
My D has a calculus test tomorrow too. Seems to be a common thread among all you Barnard hopefuls. Good Luck to everyone on your tests and in admissions.
I have a calc test too-but i cannot focus on the integrals of polar curves with this news over my head
Did anyone else not get an email saying when the decision will be posted? Or am I the only one? Is that bad that I didn’t get one? After I applied they emailed me saying they got my application. Like the other user told me, I did email admissions to confirm my email address but I’m just wondering… what do you think? Anyone else not get the email?
@peacelove77 Have you checked your spam folder and ensured you have Barnard saved as a contact? I wouldn’t worry too much right now as there’s nothing you can do until tomorrow at the earliest but if they don’t reply to you by say mid afternoon I’d call and check up on things. Try not to stress yet it’s just a small glitch and I’m sure it will be resolved quickly but nothing will be able to happen until the office opens tomorrow.
In the mean time, double check it wasn’t flagged and put in the spam folder and maybe check your other email accounts if you have any to see if it was somehow sent thereby accident.
@beepboop344 I wish I applied somewhere ED! It makes such a big difference at some schools. In Canada, I applied to UBC, Mount Allison, McGill, and U of T (Trin). I’ve been accepted to the first two, McGill hasn’t even reviewed my app yet and waiting for U of T (prob because it’s Trin aha). I really want to go to a smaller school that gives access to research opportunities though, so that’s why I applied to the US. Also, if I’m accepted to any school in the US my decision will be so much easier, as my Canadian schools all have their own pros and cons. So my fingers are really crossed for Barnard!
i feel you! i applied to wellesley EDII but was deferred. congrats on those two schools, ive heard great things! i wanted more resources and opportunities with the benefit of a smaller more tight knit working environment, which is why i applied to my american schools. i think if i stay in canada and get in mcgill ill go there if not Laurier. good luck on trinity! you’ll get in! as for barnard…i really really hope we get in!!
(In case people didnt get the email this is what it contained)
