NYC is right in between my girlfriend and me so we’re gonna make a weekend out of it! I visited Barnard over the Christmas holidays too and I was completely blown away!

Hey guys! Do you think I should apply for Barnard Bound if I don’t really need financial aid?
@cfla21 If you could pay for your own trip to Barnard, I really push for you to do that as opposed to taking a spot at Barnard Bound for those in need. Barnard Bound is over the weekend but there’s an Open House for all perspective students on that Monday. I’d highly recommend making the trip and going to the Open House because it still shows your interest without taking others’ opportunities.
Do you guys know when the ED app is due and when acceptances/waitlist/rejections come back? I’m sure I could find it online somewhere, but I hope someone on this thread knows!
@katewithak It says Nov. 1 and you’ll be notified mid December! 
@katewithak last year ED was told on the 13th, but it could be anytime from the 12 to 15th
Hello everyone do any of you know when it is the best time to schedule an interview?
@dreamscape99 Hey!! If you are ED-ing you should schedule soon but maybe make Barnard your second interview so you know how well you interview beforehand. If you are applying regular you still have time so dw right now. I’ve heard Barnard Interview signup go fast but I think the earlier dates should be for mainly ED-ers. As for time of day I think mid-day is good so you aren’t rushing to get ready, can take in note travel time, and aren’t too exhausted with the day’s work.
AHH! I’ve been waiting for this chat. I’ve fallen in love with Barnard from all of the information that I could find online but I haven’t visited yet- only have heard accounts from friends and read stuff online. I’m planning on visiting soon, but I’m super nervous about getting in. If I like the feel of the campus, I’m definitely applying ED! Has anyone else not visited/visited and have any insight?
Barnard has been one of my favourite schools for so long, and I can’t believe application season is coming up so soon! So excited to meet you guys if I get accepted!!
