Does anybody got an early decision before 6pm?
According to the Columbia Spectator, ED applications increased this year by 19%. Admissions officials say that as of today, overall applications are up 42%. ED letters were apparently posted at 3pm, which means emails should start going out shortly. Best of luck!
@exlibris97 Wait, when you say ED vs. overall, are you talking ED vs. people who have already submitted their RD applications early? Thanks for passing along the Spec info, I didn’t read the admissions article because I assumed it was all Columbia!

I don’t see how the letters being mailed out today at 3 correlates with our electronic decision. I can’t help but think that we won’t receive an email until later on 
what do you guys think? I know last year, decisions came out at 7pm EST.

But the deadline for RD is 1/1/2017. That means the overall applications will go up even higher…
