@HiToWaMom That’s undoubtedly true but application numbers don’t tell you about the quality of the applicant pool. My advice is not to focus on numbers. I’ve known many students through the years who were pleasantly surprised.
Hi there-- current Barnard first year. I LOVE Barnard but sometimes (often) they are pretty bad with deadlines. If your decisions don’t come out exactly at 6 or whatever time you think they’ll arrive, it DOESN’T MEAN YOU WERE DENIED. It just means Barnard is late 
Last year, ED decisions came out at 7pm EST. Crossing my fingers for you all! Much love xx

Thanks for dropping by this v stressed out forum with some comforting words I’m not sure if if you would have this information at all, but do you know if decisions should all be released at the same time or if it may be staggered? Does anyone have any experience of this anywhere or with siblings? I’m the oldest in my family and it’s been ages since my parents applied to college so they have no idea how any of this works!
They should all come out at once! Don’t worry-- remember to breathe! If you haven’t gotten it by now, they are just late. It happens! Make yourself a cup of tea, pet a fluffy animal, talk to your mom. You’ll get it soon.

@barnard1styear Literally looking at the .gif that teaches you how to breathe for stress relief as I type this. (Sadly) no fluffy animal in my house, but I do have a big mug of earl grey & I’m wearing the Barnard t-shirt I bought on my first visit for good luck!

Is it the same as the financial aid portal? Still haven’t checked!
If it’s the same as last year, it should be up on Snowbird (the portal where you checked to make sure you had all your materials in and received by the college) a few minutes before they send emails out

yeah it’s up on the portal they sent when they confirmed your application. rejected but I didnt expect otherwise so idc
