My counselor told me that they switched it to December 11th so I wanted to see if that was actually true (it’s not).

Did anyone sit in on a class @ barnard?
I did – an English class. Mostly students from Barnard and one from Columbia.
Will Barnard notify us of the exact decision date? Or will it be more of a ‘surprise high blood pressure’ thing?
I think they sent an email last year saying when they would release decisions
I sat in on a gender studies class and IT WAS AMAZING
I sat in on an Indian Civilization class; interesting subject and brilliant professor but it consisted mostly of Columbia students. Did anyone have a similar experience?
I feel like we’re going to get our results somewhere from Dec 11-15, basically the second week of December.
I believe decision results came out on Dec 13 last year.
Also just because I am curious, is anyone here applying from NYC?

The class I sat in on was all Barnard girls and very small, about 10 people
Today I had my HEOP interview! It went great
About whether I took classes. I took two one was about how women are portrayed in Greek and Roman myths and another class I took was violence in literature. Two very interesting classes! I am too eagerly waiting to hear about my decision! Fingers crossed for all of us.
Wednesday the 13th is the magic date? I know last year’s students didn’t find out till 6 or 7 on the portal.
I don’t think Barnard has announced this year’s notification date yet. It was the 13th last year, but it might be different this year.
Yeah they’ll mail you the official date a week-ish before I think
Does Barnard notify you via letter AND email or just one of the two? I can’t seem to find a definite answer anywhere…
