Discussion for all the ladies out there hoping to transfer to Barnard College for the Spring!
Does anyone kniw the transfer accept rate? Cross my finger
All I know is that for the spring about 20-50 women enroll, but I’ve gathered that the transfer rate is around 23% for the fall (again, could be slightly different in the spring)
@anh1003 where else have you applied?
Got it! Thanx!
Nothing else, only Barnard. I just didn’t know Barnard when I was a senior in high school.
Has anyone got their decision letter yet?
I’m still waiting… Goodluck girls!
Still waiting as well…I had to put a down a deposit for another school that had a deadline to pay by Dec. 1st, but I’m still hopeful for Barnard
do you think all the decisions will come out by next week?
I feel like will be next Monday or Tuesday.
I was told that by an admission counselor that enrollment deposits would be due by Dec. 15, so the decisions must be coming very soon
Hi, I’m currently a sophomore and I applied for spring 2018 transfer too. Also, ugh, this is so stressful.
another update! apparently we will receive an email the day before they release decisions, so hopefully that day is today!
I applied for Spring Transfer. I’m nervous because the another school I was accepted into need to hear back from me very soon.
Great! Thank you for updating! I checked the past threads about Barnard transfer, it’s really late this time…
Has anyone called the admission office about the decision date…? I’m so anxious…
I did…We should apparently receive an email telling us when we’ll find out by the end of the week 8-|
Yeah I called as well and they told me the same thing
This is just getting a little bit stressful because my current college needs to know soon if I’m coming back and etc. a lot of logistics involved with transferring and not a lot of time.
@c00lneatswag97 completely agree. I am lucky to already live in NYC so logistically it wouldn’t be as complicated for me, but I did already pay a deposit at another school
