Barnard College Spring 2018 Transfer

I just called admissions, and apparently the decisions are on a rolling-basis.

I’m just getting concerned about living arrangements… were you guys planning on applying for student housing or finding an apartment?

Apparently it will be this week or early next week and then the deposit is due December 15th so literally you could have two days to decide.

This is crazy…

if we all (hopefully) get admitted, I can’t wait to meet you all in January and talk about this excruciating process!

Totally!!

What colleges are you all currently at? When do you have to let them know whether you’re returning or not? Also, in response to wilco9997, I would love to get an apartment with some other transfers (if accepted)!

@ldtlavender I go to an art school in Manhattan at the moment, and I already let them know that I won’t be coming back. I live in student housing so I had to report that I was moving out by December 1st in order to not be charged for next semester

Hey guys my decision just came out! rejected :frowning:

@nyuapp123 so sorry that we won’t see you on campus :frowning: I got my decision too and was accepted! If anyone else got an acceptance message me so we can add each other on Facebook

Got my decision too and I was also rejected. Good luck to everyone else! I really hope you all make it

rejected as well. are you guys gonna apply for fall transfer to Barnard?

accepted today. now im torn between boston U and barnard

Probably not going to apply again. I’ve been accepted to other schools and though I really loved Barnard when I went I think I’ll be fine almost anywhere.

Accepted!!

Accepted!

Hi girl! Congratulations! I just got rejected and I’m very depressed. Can you share your basic data with us? I’d very appreciate. Wish you luck!

Sure!
I come from CWM, with a gpa about 3.86
No special school activities, but got two amazing intern last summer (for a racing car studio and a theatre company). I applied as a sophomore. My original SAT is 2060.
And in my essays, I generally talked about my passion to theatre. I also submitted a portfolio of my watercolors.

Anyone accepted as a Junior transfer?
