<p>Hi everyone. I’m 99% sure I’m applying early to Barnard so… chance me!?</p>

SAT II: History 770, Lit 750, Span 620
GPA: 3.9 UW, 5.3 W (top 10%)
I’m an honors/AP student in every subject except math… which isn’t really a strong point for me AT ALL.</p>

<p>I should think your ed chances are excellent, assuming you are taking the most rigorous course load available to you, and your legacy status is icing on the cake. Make sure your application goes beyond the typical "OMG, I would love to be in NYC since I am a singier and theater major" (not that I think that is what you would say, but you get my drift I hope). You have great informational resources in your mom and aunt, though I suppose they attended Barnard before Columbia began admitting women, so things are a bit different. Make sure your answers to those questions get to the heart of who you are....</p>
