Barnard - my chances?

I have dreamed of going to Barnard since I went there when I was 12 with the girl scouts.
Here are my stats:

I am 17 years old and I'm black Panamanian(hispanic) female

I plan on taking the ACT in Dec.
GPA: 3.3 at a college preparatory all-girl catholic high school (w/ challenging workload)
School rank is 41 out of 84 (which i know....is average)

Classes taken:
(4 years of....English, Math, Language,Religion)
3 science courses - earth science, biology, chemistry
2 years of spanish and 2 years of french
3 years of history - 2 years of global history and american history

I know my class schedule is not really impressive but I tried to get into any advanced class that I could take.

I took a summer program for liberal arts at Long Island University which I received 3 credits in and have a 4.0 average.
Presently, I am taking at LIU a psychology course which would give me another 3 credits and in the spring I will receive another 3 credits when I take a philosophy course.

The 3 LIU course + AP Calc = will equal to 12 college credits before I enter college.

Recommendations from 2 English teachers, US Government

I had my interview with a senior that went great. I got to show my personality and she genuinely liked and thought it was acceptable.

Plus, possibly a student referral from a Barnard alumni and a graduated from my high school to put with my application.

Also, my friend got accepted to barnard and she is pesently attending but she was the valedictorian of her class. Any opinions, do you think I can get in?

your sat is too low, your rank is pretty low for a school like barnard...honestly (just my opinion, dont want to sound too harsh) I think your chances barnard pretty low..your race will help but you would need a little more

I also attended pre-college programs at Barnard.

Why is your SAT Score so low for going to a Catholic College Prepatory School? Bring that up or do well on the ACT.

Good luck on future endeavors,

Jerod

Even though I go to a college preparatory school, they did not prep us for the SAT....which is kinda of ironic. I had to study from the princeton review book by myself. I am planning to get a really high score on the ACT.

Thanks.
