Barnard or Bryn Mawr?

I. Can't. Decide. >_<

I stayed overnight at Bryn Mawr and loved the atmosphere of the campus as well as the sense of community that pervaded it, but I fear that it might be too "isolated" in the sense that...I dunno, it's located in the happy, bucolic, and rather wealthy Main Line. But it's got really nice dorms, and good food, and...excellent academics, of course.

Barnard, on the other hand, is in NYC, and I feel as though the opportunity to go there shouldn't be passed up lightly...I haven't done an overnight there and visited during the summer, so I don't know if I've picked up the true vibe of the atmosphere there. I have a feeling it'll be "grittier" than BMC, but not in a bad way -- more of a welcome-to-the-real-world way. Barnard might be better for life experience, in a way.

Can anybody fill me in on where each school's academic strengths/weaknesses lie, though, or whether one is really stronger than the other? Or are both equally enabled to help me prepare for life after college? And is there anything that I'm completely overlooking here?
