Is the program something I should list on my resume? Obviously, it’s more likely than not to increase my chances of getting into Barnard. But for other colleges, would it send the message that I’m not as interested in them maybe? Also, I went the summer before my junior year. So it’s not like it’s super recent or anything.

I think it would be okay, but I just want to hear others opinions

I do think you should list it. And Barnard is going to look good on your application regardless...

Best to you.

I just got in too…are you going this summer?

I’m just finishing up my app. Does anybody know how competitive the program is?

When I went last summer I asked one of the RAs that works in admission and she said the PCP has about 40% acceptance rate.

I am going to commute if I go… do you think I will have the same experience as those living on campus?

I didn’t really know anyone that commuted. While the classes were wonderful, some of my fondest memories happened in the dorms and after class. I think it’s just what you make of it.

I live pretty close by so I just could not justify spending the extra $$$. Do you think I will be able to connect and make friends if I commute?
