So I wrote out my answers to the four questions on the supplement, but all of my paragraphs are about 230-240 words or like 300ish characters too many. I can upload a document to remedy that problem, but does it look bad to admission officers by not abiding by the recommended “about 200 words”? Let me know what you guys think, I’m a little worried about it. I can try to cut it down, but I would prefer not to…

I am an ED admit, and I uploaded all of my supplement answers. I think that while they want you to be succinct, they would much rather a developed response than a choppy one. Good luck!

I am pretty sure my daughter’s answers were all longer than what they suggest. Agree with trapeze37.

Thanks so much guys for the opinions!

You can do it longer than they suggest, but they strongly discourage it.
I’m really good at cutting if you want help.

I talked to someone in the admissions office. It’s fine if you go over by even a couple hundred words; they just want to discourage any novels.

There should be no problem if you upload the essays.

I would have around 200, and sometimes a little over (like 5 words or so) but my character count was way over 1000 characters (like over 100 more characters) even when I had less than 200 words! o.0
