I was just rejected as well by Barnard College via email. I was accepted however to Cornell University and if I don’t get into NYU I will end up going there…

I just got a rejection via email…I am so sad

im really sad too

but you got into cornell! Not in nyc but still it is Cornell… what an a accomplishment, I got an email as well but i am being immature and I wont open it until i am done with my homework because, I do not want to get depressed and not be able to focus especially during finals week

Ellomeno-I hope you wrote an essay on self discipline!

@vitrac lol

yeah but I would have really liked to be in NYC and this was my third time applying to Barnard… JUST OPEN IT! What if it’s an acceptance?

I hate you emily livelli :/

Waitlisted. I suppose it could be worse. I got into Wellesley, and I’m trying to figure out whether I could be a Wellesley Woman or not…

firestar412, r u in the transferring waitlist? I don’t understand how transferring students can be in the waitlist.

Rejected as well. I wasn’t surprised considering I got an email two weeks ago from Emilly writing they hadn’t received half of my application yet.
I’m still crossing my fingers for Smith or Bryn Mawr.

firestar412 - congrats on Wellesley! Whether or not you decide to go, it’s a great school and definitely an honor to be accepted.

And everyone else - good luck in your future admissions decisions! We’re all amazing candidates, and one rejection (or waitlist) won’t define our future paths that much. Good luck with all of your future pursuits (and enjoy whatever school you end up at, whether it’s your current one, or somewhere as equally exciting as Barnard)!

wow… Big R here too =/ Good luck everyone else

Waitlisted. Not too bummed though. I’m more than likely going to Amherst if financial aid works out. Congrats to those accepted to Barnard!

rejected via email )):

Rejected too. Got into vanderbilt and USC so I dont think I wouldve gone to Barnard even if I did get in. The email was pretty cold though haha

The email was indeed cold. I got into Mount Holyoke and Byrn Mawr and Lehigh, so I think I still have good options.

rejected but it’s all good USC may consider (SGR) me i got into Colgate, Boston U. and Pepperdine

still waiting on two more schools but hopefully one day i’ll be chancellor of Barnard ;p

good luck to the rest of you ladies

@ellomeno, u finally see u rdecisions. Brave girl! Let’s all face the truth. Don’t escape and then what we need to do is move forward!

Hi guys! I’m sorry to hear about the rejection letters that came out today. You all sound like amazing people, so I’m sure you’ll do great things wherever you go!

I’m transferring from Williams, although I haven’t actually been there for two years (long story). I got a yes from Barnard at the beginning of the month, but I just sent in my deposit yesterday. So excited! Anybody else going?
