Contages I just looked at your post in “help for a desperate transfer student” - your r

thanks mmillie86, that’s really nice of you nobody is perfect, and hopefully barnard sees each of us through a different lens.

Does anyone know when decisions will be posted and if they’ll be through email or snail mail?

@ylpsimpson I think the general consensus is that they will probably be emailed since that’s what they did for RD. Who knows when though.

I think earlier in this thread someone said they asked and found out that decisions will for sure be sent via email, and they are aiming to release them by the middle of May but can’t promise. They do promise to have decisions out by May 31 though.

Has anyone heard back yet? According to the formspring, some decisions have already been sent out.

I saw that formspring response too. Nothing here Do you think they mean they’ve sent the packages or emails?

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking at this thread for a while but have never commented lol. I just got my acceptance package today! The date on the package was May 3 but just arrived today since I’m in California. I have not received any kind of email from Barnard so I hope that helps!!!

Congratulations!!! Do you mind posting your stats?

I had a weighted GPA of 4.3 in high school, unweighted it was 3.98. In college I had an A- average last semester and do a lot of community service/women’s rights extracurriculars. I got a 32 cumulative on my ACT. Hope that helps!

I was accepted today as well! Same deal, no email, but got an acceptance package via priority mail delivered to my college this afternoon. No email from the school.

Ahh, sorry for the typo. My eyes are so tired from the gazillions of papers I have to write.

Thanks for your stats claravivian. Congrats to both of you ladies!

where are you guys that got accepted from?

also has anyone been rejected…

I’m from the Bay Area but currently going to school in southern california

a friend of mine got called by Barnard yesterday asking what classes she is taking this quarter so that they can calculate how many credits she can transfer… She hasn’t received any decision yet… Is this a good sigh?

tinydancer, I’m from the northeast.

claravivian, are you going to go?

Pretty sure I am, although I got into NYU as well. On the acceptance letter they said that they admit roughly 80 transfers per year so good luck everyone!

I’m choosing between Barnard and Columbia… it’s like impossible… I want to go to both so badly.
