<p>I realize you’re sick of these, but I just got into Wash U off the waitlist. I was all gung ho to go to Barnard, I love it there, but now I feel ever so slightly confused. Does anyone have any thoughts?

<p>This is tough...Well, if Barnard was always your first choice and you only feel confused now that you have another option, then stick with Barnard. But if you really wanted to go to Wash U. and then put it out of your mind, thinking you wouldn't be accepted, then you really have to decide if you still want to go there.

<p>There was a thread on making up your mind in the parents' forum. The best advice I have read for people at your stage in the process is:
1 Decide that Big Brother has chosen college "x" , e.g. Wash U, and that you are going and you have no choice.
2 Then look for signs such as a sudden need to defend Barnard or physical signs such as a head ache or nausea.
3 Then repeat with the other college.</p>
<p>At this point it really comes down to personal preference.</p>
